You now have the ability to add Approvers to a step on your form in bulk using a CSV.
After a form is set up, you may find that you need to add many additional approvers to a particular step.
This article will show you how to use a CSV spreadsheet to add approvers to a step. In order to add approvers, you must be a form owner or manager.
To use a CSV upload to add Approvers to a step…
- Click on the folder where you’d like to add approvers and navigate to the responses page.
- Click on the Approvers/CC tab.
- On the next page, navigate to the desired step and select Add Approver
- From here, you can select Upload via CSV
- On the following page, you will be able to upload a CSV of users.
- Your CSV must be uploaded in a particular format, that includes:
- The Email of the user
- The Name/Title of the users that will appear for users sending the form to them. EX: Director, Student Services
- We recommend that you use titles or roles that will be familiar to users submitting who may not know the individual approving the form

- Your CSV must be uploaded in a particular format, that includes:
- Once your CSV is prepared, you will click Choose File > select your file > Import.
- If your import is successful, you’ll be taken back to the Approval Route page and see Successfully Imported
- If your import is unsuccessful, you’ll want to be sure to check that your column headers are appropriately labeled Email and Name/Title
