Signature fields can be set up with either Signature V1 or V2 and may depend on your specific form. Below you can see the differences in the signature options.
- Signature V1 will be the default and standard signature option.
- Signature V2 captures the name and timestamp of the signature and adds this underneath the signature. This added data helps add authenticity and compliance that may be needed for specific forms.
How to add Signature V2 to your form
- Navigate to the Doc Editor.
- Click the signature field in your toolbar and add your signature field to your document.
- Click on your signature field and click the Show Signature Details checkbox.
- Click Save.
